After School Program Team Member Job Description 2018-2019

West End School (WES) is a tuition-free, independent, PK-8 school with a mission to provide a safe, structured environment for boys in which academic rigor, character development, and responsible action establish the foundation for a purposeful life. Admission is open to boys who qualify for free or reduced-priced lunches and who are capable of attaining grade-level proficiency. West End School strives to address the issues boys in our community face by creating for its students a loving environment of high expectations and personal responsibility. Through the School's rigorous academic and personal standards, we inspire our students to attain the highest possible level of scholarship, character, and intellectual growth.

We also provide a space for students to work on and receive help with homework as well as tutoring.

A West End School ASP Team Member is responsible for facilitating a positive, fun and engaging environment with a focus on safety and responsibility.   WES ASP Team Members will work in coordination with the Team Leader, the ASP Coordinator and Classroom Teachers to support our students’ academic goals and character development.
